Sunday Mornings

Small groups 9:00 am

(1st grade; 2nd-3rd grade; 4th-5th grade; all co-ed currently).

 

Children’s worship (1st -5th grade)

In Kid Central 10:30 am *

* 5th graders will go to worship service in the main sanctuary with their families or they may sit in the student section (front left) with adult supervision.

 

Wednesdays

Kid Central 6:30-7:30

(Beginning in Jan., 2018, we will only have Wed. night dinner once per month.  January’s dinner will be Wed., the 24th at 5:30 pm.  PLEASE CALL CHURCH OFFICE EACH MONTH TO VERIFY DATE.  Please plan to join us!)

We love to teach growing children about Jesus. We’ve created a ministry where children from first through fifth grade have a place on Sundays and Wednesdays that is designed just for them. They’ll experience environments where they’ll get to play, sing, hear God’s Word and apply it to their lives in age appropriate ways

 

Here is our commitment to you:

 

• We will offer fun, life-changing events throughout the year for your child to experience. During the school year, children get to attend Sunday school and Wednesday night activities with other children their age, learning God’s truth. In the summer months, we offer a free, 5-day Vacation Bible School that shares the message of God’s truth very clearly and in ways that the children understand and enjoy. We also offer a high-energy camp experience (Centri-Kid by Lifeway camps) that is typically the last week of June or the first week of July. These and many other opportunities await your child here at 5th Avenue!

 

• We will pray for you and your family. We pray that your child(ren) and entire family comes to know Jesus’ love early on and live in the joy of His delight and amazing truth that is found in the Bible.

 

• We will teach your child using Biblical, age-appropriate materials in a safe, loving environment. We use Lifeway’s materials for Sunday mornings. It is well written Biblical truth that is geared toward each child’s age and stage of development. We require all of our teachers and helpers to have a background check. We also utilize a child/vulnerable adult protection policy to ensure your child’s safety and well-being.

 

• We will provide a place for you as the parent/guardian to serve, worship, and attend a small group. We want you to be equipped and encouraged by other believers in Christ, too. Therefore, we offer opportunities to plug in and “do life” with others throughout the church and community.
