Worship Pastor

 

Born on the tiny, but beautiful, island of San Andres, Colombia, Alberto has always had a love for the arts and for people.  Although he grew up  in a home with Christian parents, Alberto didn’t gain his love for GOD until he was traveling, ironically enough, with a contemporary Christian musical group in his early 20s.  After receiving his bachelor degree in English and Interpersonal Communication Alberto decided to go into corporate work and for many years worked in corporate jobs.  A brief stint in wonderful state of Texas was followed by an even briefer stint in Ft Lauderdale FL where he met a beautiful and wonderful woman who would eventually become his wife, Becky, and partner in ministry.  Eventually, Alberto felt the call of GOD into full-time worship ministry.  This calling allowed him to combine his love for GOD, people, and the arts into one neat little package of ministry.  Because of his calling, Alberto went on to receive a master of arts degree in music.  From there he took his first full-time position as a worship pastor in St. Petersburg, FL.  Alberto and Becky have been partners in ministry for many years now and love the people of 5th AVE, with whom they currently serve.
